Agreement to these terms

thebiologycode.com (the "Site") is operated by AGENCY WEALTH PARTNERS LLC, 9696 Bonita Beach Rd SE, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, United States ("we", "us"). By visiting or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Affiliate Disclosure. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

What the Site is

The Biology Code is an independent, educational reference about dietary supplements. We publish product entries, each of which runs four checks (Actives, Claims, Guarantees and Testing), and field notes that explain how to read labels and research. The Site is not a shop, a pharmacy, a clinic or a laboratory. We do not sell, store or ship any product mentioned on it. Every purchase is made with Amazon or with the seller concerned, under their terms. See How We Review for how our entries are put together.

Not medical advice

Everything on the Site is general information for education. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or care. Reading the Site, writing to us or calling us does not create a clinician-patient relationship between you and us, and nobody who works on the Site is acting as your doctor, pharmacist or dietitian.

Before you start, change or stop any supplement, ask a qualified clinician or pharmacist, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, take prescription or over-the-counter medicine, have a health condition, or are planning surgery. Never delay or ignore professional advice because of something you read here. If you think you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.

Accuracy, and no warranty on our content

We work to make the Site accurate. We read labels and primary sources, we date our reviews, and we correct errors when we find them. But labels, formulas, prices, refund terms and websites change without notice, and an entry describes a product as we found it on the review date shown on the page. Research also moves on. We do not promise that the Site is complete, current or free of mistakes, and the statuses we assign (for example "Disclosed" or "Verified") describe what we could confirm on a given date. They are not a guarantee about a product or a seller.

We do not manufacture, formulate or test the products we write about. Dietary supplements are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration before they are sold. The FDA says manufacturers and distributors are responsible for evaluating the safety and labeling of their products before marketing. Any claim a seller makes about its own product remains that seller's claim.

Affiliate links and compensation

Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change a check status. The full explanation is on the Affiliate Disclosure page.

Third-party sites, sellers and products

The Site links to websites and products that are not ours, including Amazon, sellers' own stores and the sources we cite. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, availability, prices, privacy practices or policies, and a link does not mean we endorse the site or product, or that we are connected to it. When you buy, you contract with the seller and not with us, and the seller's terms, shipping and return policies apply. We are not a party to that sale, and we cannot process orders, deliveries or refunds. See Shipping and Returns.

Intellectual property

The text, layout, design, graphics, symbols and the name "The Biology Code" on the Site belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may read the Site, and you may quote short excerpts for commentary, criticism or research provided you credit The Biology Code and link back to the source page. Beyond that, please do not copy, republish, sell, scrape or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

Product names, brand names, logos and package photographs shown on the Site belong to their owners. We show them only to identify the product being reviewed, and their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, their owners.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that could damage, overload or interfere with it or with other people's use of it;
• try to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or files such as our subscriber list;
• use automated tools to copy the Site at scale, or to submit forms, unless we have agreed to it in writing;
• submit someone else's email address to our newsletter form without their permission;
• introduce malicious code, or send us anything unlawful, abusive or misleading; or
• present our content as though it were yours, or as though we endorsed you or your product.

If you subscribe to The Biology Code Brief you agree to receive it until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time, and our Privacy Policy explains what we do with your details.

Feedback and corrections

If you send us suggestions, corrections or other feedback, you agree that we may use them without obligation or payment to you. We appreciate corrections and will consider each one, but we are not obliged to change our content.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any product will be safe or suitable for you or will perform in any particular way.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AGENCY WEALTH PARTNERS LLC and its members, managers, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Site. That includes loss arising from your reliance on our content or from a product or service you buy from a third party. Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Site will not exceed US$100. Some places do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of the above may not apply to you, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs that arise from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Site.

Changes

We may change the Site, and we may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the Site after an update, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute connected with the Site, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree that the state and federal courts located in Florida have jurisdiction over any such dispute, unless a law that applies to you gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with the policies linked above, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Site.
