What is inside

There is no single answer, because the name is attached to six ingredient lists. We list them by the websites that carry them, all opened on Sep 29, 2026 [1][2][3][4]. The domain names are given as plain text on purpose; we do not link to any of them.

A 23rd domain, gelagen.com, was an empty placeholder page, and two more that other pages link to (mygelagen.com and shop-gelagen.us) did not connect at all. Every gummy site says 60 gummies per bottle and two a day; the capsule site says one capsule a day.

The one panel with numbers

The 13-nutrient panel is the only version we can actually read. These figures come from gelagenstore.com's Supplement Facts image and match a syndicated press release from early September [2][7]. Serving size is two gummies; Daily Values below are the FDA's adult figures [11].

Strip away the biotin and this is a modest multivitamin in gummy form. That is not a criticism of the panel, which is honest about its contents; it is a reason to ask what the price is for. See how to read a Supplement Facts panel for the difference between a printed amount and a marketing line.

Which Gelagen would you get?

Following the order buttons tells you who is really taking the money. gelagenstore.com processes through ClickBank and says outright that any bottle on Amazon, eBay or Walmart is "outside the authorised distribution" [2]. gelagen.co's button goes, through an affiliate-tagged link, to a RevivaGlow cart run by BuyGoods [1]. gelagen.store's buttons go to a tracking domain, mwebtrackwise.com, and the pricing section of the page still reads "Pricing below is a template. Connect each button to your real checkout URL before publishing" [3]. getgelagen.com and trygelagen.com send clicks through a tracking service, alikoo.com, and the twelve shop-gelagen.com sites share one cart between them [4]. None of the 22 sites mentions any of the others as a related seller.

Amazon adds another layer. A search there on Sep 29, 2026 returned more than 30 listings using the Gelagen name, from $38.95 to $99.95, under seller or brand names that appear on none of the storefronts [9]. One 60-count listing, priced $39.95 with two ratings, is sold by Ovicia Naturals, the same distributor name we found on the Amazon listing in our GlycoReset entry. We could not tie any Amazon listing to any of the six ingredient lists above, so we do not link to them.

What the research says

The sales pages promise stronger nails, fuller-looking hair and a "youthful glow", and most of them rest that promise on biotin. We compared the claims with published human research on the ingredients that are named. One limit applies to every version: a PubMed search for the product name returned nothing on Sep 29, 2026, so no version of Gelagen has been tested as a product.

Biotin

Biotin is a B vitamin that the body uses in fat and amino-acid metabolism, and a true shortage does show up in hair and nails. The question is whether extra biotin helps people who are not short of it. A 2017 review located 18 published cases in which biotin improved hair or nails; every one involved an underlying cause, such as an inherited or acquired shortage or a specific nail or hair disorder, and the authors concluded there is not enough evidence for supplementation in healthy people [16]. A 2018 review of biotin for nail conditions found small trials reporting firmer, thicker nails in people with brittle nails, and called for larger controlled trials before drawing conclusions [17]. A 2019 review of vitamins and minerals in hair shedding reached the same place: a shortage is a fixable risk factor, but large placebo-controlled trials of supplements are still missing [18]. Nothing we found tests whether 5,000 mcg does more than 30 mcg for a well-fed adult.

Biotin and blood tests. Large biotin intakes can distort the results of some common laboratory tests, including thyroid tests, because the tests themselves use biotin chemistry. The FDA publishes guidance to test makers on checking for this interference [14], and a 2025 laboratory study found that biotin above a threshold pushed several assay results falsely low or high [15]. One of the Gelagen sites even says its dose is "high enough to matter at a blood draw" [4]. If you take a high-dose biotin product, tell whoever orders your blood work.

Collagen peptides and hyaluronic acid

These two are the basis of the gelagen.store gummy, and they are the best-studied ingredients on any of the lists. A 2021 meta-analysis of 19 randomized, placebo-controlled trials (1,125 adults, 95% women) found that oral hydrolyzed collagen improved skin hydration, elasticity and wrinkle measures over about 90 days [19]. A 2023 meta-analysis of 26 trials (1,721 people) reported the same direction for hydration and elasticity [20]. Two 12-week placebo-controlled trials of oral hyaluronic acid, in 60 and 40 adults, reported reduced wrinkle measures at 120 mg a day; both were run with employees of the manufacturer among the authors [21]. The catch is dose. Collagen trials state their daily amount, typically measured in grams, and a two-gummy serving weighs only a few grams in total, sugar and pectin included. The collagen gummy states no amount for collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C or grape seed extract, so there is no way to compare it with those trials. The capsule's botanicals

The gelagen.co capsule pairs biotin and folate with eight other ingredients, none with an amount. Two of them are unusual in a skin product. Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound derived from cruciferous vegetables that is studied mostly in areas unrelated to skin appearance; we found no human trial of it for hair, skin or nails, and one published case report attributes a severe drug-type rash to a DIM supplement [22]. Mucuna pruriens is a bean whose research interest lies almost entirely in its levodopa content, a compound used in neurology; again we found no trial for skin. Alpha-GPC, eggshell membrane, Sophora japonica, Angelica gigas and sarsaparilla we did not review one by one, and the page cites no studies for any of them [1].

The sellers' own references

gelagenstore.com links to government fact sheets on biotin and vitamin C and to an FDA page about biotin and lab tests that now returns "page not found" [2]. gelaggen.com and gelagens.com link to PubMed search-result pages rather than to studies [4]. gelagen.co cites nothing. None of the references on any site is a trial of the product.

Safety points

Besides the blood-test issue, two things stand out. Vitamin A at 630 mcg per serving is fine on its own but adds up if you also take a multivitamin or a retinol-type product. And the capsule's botanicals carry no amounts, which matters most for anyone pregnant, nursing or on prescription medicines, since supplements can change how medicines work [23].

Price and where it is sold

Prices seen on Sep 29, 2026. gelagenstore.com lists one bottle at $79 against a "list price" of $179, two for $158, three for $207 ($69 each) and six for $294 ($49 each), the last two with free US shipping [2]. gelagen.co offers $49 a bottle against a "regular price" of $99, with six bottles at $49 each plus free shipping and two digital guides [1]. gelagen.store shows $49 for one (crossed-out $89), $39 each for three and $34 each for six [3]. gelagenofficial.com and the shop-gelagen.com sites converge on $49 a bottle for six, with crossed-out figures as high as $474 and $594 for the same pack [4]. buygelagen.com runs a countdown timer that sat at 00:00 when we loaded it and claims "4.98/5 based on 2000+ reviews" while showing three quotes.

Refunds. All 22 sites use the words "60-day" somewhere. gelagenstore.com describes its window as "60 to 180 days by payment method" and points to ClickBank's rules; ClickBank's own pages say the default is 60 days, that sellers may set 30 to 90 days, and that PayPal purchases get 180 days [24]. gelagen.co promises a full refund within 60 days by email. gelagen.store tells shoppers to "see the official refund terms" for exclusions, but publishes none. gelaggen.com and the sites that share its cart promise a full refund even on empty bottles. Which promise applies depends entirely on which domain took your order.

Who sells it. Not one of the 22 sites names a legal entity with a street address. gelagen.co is copyrighted to "RevivaGlow"; buygelagen.com to "GelaGen Research"; most of the rest simply to "Gelagen". Eight of the shop-gelagen.com sites print "Distributed by Instituto Experience, Lakeland FL 33804", a ZIP code with no street [4]. A press release for the five-B-vitamin gummy, issued Sep 13, 2026 and datelined Lakeland, gives "Instituto Research, 1162, Lakeland, FL 33804" [8]; a syndicated piece from Sep 9 says the 13-nutrient gummy is "distributed by Instituto Experience, based in Lakeland, Florida" [7]; and the Sep 11 release for the collagen gummy is datelined Largo, Florida, with no company beyond "Gelagen" [6]. We could not open the Florida business registry from our tools to check either Instituto name.

The only independent customer page we found is a Trustpilot profile for gelagen.store, claimed by the company: 2.9 out of 5 from three reviews, all published in September 2026, with no reply from the company to any of them [5]. One reviewer ordered on Sep 9 and, by Sep 21, had no parcel and a tracking record showing it still in China, despite having been told the product was made in the USA. Another says the marketing emails hide a tracking pixel in the unsubscribe link. The third, three stars, had hoped for clearer skin and was not impressed. Three reviews prove little, but "Made in USA" appears on most of the Gelagen sites, and gelagen.store itself makes no manufacturing claim at all.

Testing. No site names a laboratory, a certification program or a certificate number. The badges on offer are "FDA-registered facility", "GMP" and "Made in USA" on most sites, and gelagen.co goes further by claiming its factory holds government approval. Following good manufacturing practice is a legal requirement for every supplement maker, the FDA does not issue registration certificates, and by law it does not approve dietary supplements or their labeling [12][13]. Where we would look instead

If the appeal is biotin with a printed dose from a company you can find, Nature's Bounty Optimal Solutions Hair, Skin & Nails gummies state 2,500 mcg of biotin per two-gummy serving, are shipped and sold by Amazon itself, and cost $7.69 for 80 gummies on Sep 29, 2026 [10]. That is a stated dose from an ordinary manufacturer, not a claim that biotin will change your hair; the research above applies to it just the same. The link is in the fact sheet.

Who should look elsewhere

• Anyone with blood tests coming up, because high-dose biotin can distort some results. At minimum, tell the person ordering the test [14][15].
• People who are pregnant, nursing or under 18, and anyone on prescription medicines, especially with the capsule, whose botanicals carry no amounts [23].
• Anyone who wants to know which product will arrive. With six ingredient lists and four carts behind one name, that cannot be known in advance.
• Anyone who wants an independent laboratory result or a company with a street address. Neither exists here.
• Anyone hoping a supplement will change hair or nails that are healthy to begin with. The evidence is for people with a shortfall, and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
